RSS stands for "really simple syndication". These help you stay in touch with many different sources of news and information. It's quicker than revisiting a site several times a day to check for updates and, rather than having to look for new stories, RSS readers scan for updates and display them for you.
RSS readers are free to download and are available for most devices. Once you have a RSS reader on your desktop, laptop or mobile device you can add or remove RSS feeds of your choice.
Once you have installed a feed reader you can add FBA News RSS feeds by clicking the links below:
The way you add RSS feeds is different for each reader. Usually, you have to copy the URL of the feed (from the address bar on your browser) and paste it into the feed reader.
We have teamed up with the education charity Future First, who are helping us reconnect with our former students and involve them in school life – whether they left last year or 50 years ago! Our aim is to build student confidence by introducing them to our alumni. We want students to hear about all of the exciting and interesting things that their predecessors have gone on to do, and be inspired by the possibilities for their futures. It only takes minutes to sign up and there is no obligation to get involved straight away. Former students can offer support in a range of ways, from becoming career role models and mentors, to hosting students for work experience or speaking at an event. If you know other Frances Bardsley alumni, please encourage them to get involved by signing up or spreading the word. The more former students we have signed up, the more diverse and vibrant the community will become, providing more interesting ways to benefit current students.
